Sisyphos

I think going on the S-Bahn is a perfect opportunity to blog. I like to write more thought though stuff but it’s also nice to just write what comes to mind. I live in Berlin and I’m not lying when I’m telling you that a big group of flower power hippies just entered the station. They have a big speaker and seem really excited.

I’m on my way to meet up Felicia. Where going to hang around in Friedrichshain and look in second hand stores. Yesterday we were at a club called Sisyphos. A lot of Berlin locals go there and I heard it’s the best place. I totally understood why when we came there. We stood in line for two hours and almost didn’t get in because the age limit was 21 (we’re 20). But the girl in the entry was nice. Inside it was like a mini festival. There was a lot of bars and even a place where they sold some food. They had a lot of different areas to hang out, a fake beach and a teledisko. I really liked the teledisko. I’ve seen it before but never tried. You choose a song and pay a little and dance in the little pay phone alike building. Optimal is for two people to go in. There’s a lot of different lights and a disco ball. We choose Britney Spears.

In most clubs in Berlin you can’t take pictures. Either they tape over your camera or ask you to leave the phone in the wardrobe. I actually like it because it makes people socialize instead of scrolling their phones. It can also be hard to get in to some clubs because of dress codes or other selections that doesn’t really make sense. So if you want to be on the safe side I’m Berlin dress up as much and as crazy as you can. There was no such thing at Sisyphos which surprised me but was nice since I looked kinda basic.

They had a smaller dance floor in a building outside and a really big one inside. Good speaker system and not so crowded because of the good weather outside. I really like to have a lot of space when I dance so I felt really good. I would totally like to go to Sisyphos again but it feels like it’s totally worth to be there before opening to not have to stand in line for 2 hours.
