A few days ago I made a list of all my deadlines for my upcoming exams and realised I better start studying. I think it will be ok, it´s not worse than high school. The biggest difference is the essays and how well structured and quoted they need to be. But I feel like the more I´m writing the more I get use to it even though I´m still not a hundred procent sure of how everything should be. I even have a printed out copy of the referencing guide.
What more has been going on? The stores have opened again here in Berlin or at least the ones smaller than 800 square meters. Kaspar and I went to the mall to look at materialistic stuff. We bought ping pong rackets which I really nice to have here at Neon Wood where we live. They have one outdoor ping pong tables and some inside. The reception is closed now due to the epidemic but the one in the laundry room is still accessible. It´s not supposed to be a hangout area at the moment but we are there playing late in the evenings when no one else is there. It´s a great sport to do spontaneously, it doesn´t take to much effort and you can also keep up a conversation while playing.
I also broke the social distancing a bit by go visiting Isis. It was totally worth it though. We talked about life and watched clips from a reality show with couples who met online. We watched a certain couple called Ed and Rose that have gone really viral. It´s like the worst relationship ever. She´s 23 and has a son and live in the Philippines and he is 54 and live in the US. She´s poor and met him online. Maybe some of these love stories work out but this certainly didn´t. She seems terrified and disgusted of him constantly and he´s almost forcing her to do stuff. There´s one scene when he´s nagging on her until she finally gave into giving him a kiss. She looks so uncomfortable while doing it . Omg I could go on about this forever but luckily they´re not together anymore.Well after being terrified of this horrible romance me and Isis went out to buy pizza. Kaspar also came over and we ate in her kitchen. Isis is seriously one of the funniest persons I know but she´s also really genuine with wise thoughts. It´s so nice to live just a short tram ride away from her and Charly.
The alarm clock I sat to know when the laundry was done ringed a while ago but Kaspar seems to have a flow on his essay so I´m just gonna wait a bit more. I can also tell you that I´ve been babysitting the two year old boy a lot lately and it´s so fun. The wether has been really sunny and we´ve been playing a lot in the park. It feels like we understand each other well even though I´m not super good at german. But sometimes it´s a bit hard when I´m trying to explain something and doesn´t know the words or he gets frustrated when I don´t understand. But he´s the cutest kid ever and I´m so happy to be his babysitter.
